Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

These terms of service were auto-generated and are for informational purposes. We recommend consulting a lawyer before final adoption.

1. General provisions

The XP Life service (available at xp-life-kappa.vercel.app) is operated by an individual developer based in Poland.

XP Life is a web application for gamified habit and task tracking. Users earn points (XP) for completing positive habits and tasks, lose points for negative habits, and can redeem points for custom rewards.

2. User accounts

Account registration requires providing an email address and password. Authentication is handled via the Better Auth system.

The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. If unauthorized access to your account is suspected, please contact the administrator immediately.

Each account may only be used by one person. Accounts are non-transferable.

3. Plans and features

The service offers two usage plans:

Free plan

Includes basic habit tracking, tasks, rewards, and point transaction history. Available without time restrictions.

Pro plan — $9/month

Includes all Free plan features plus additional AI-powered features including habit suggestions, progress analysis, and other AI-assisted capabilities.

4. Payments and subscriptions

The Pro plan subscription is billed monthly. Payment is charged upfront at the beginning of each billing period.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to Pro features until then.

The payment provider will be specified when paid plans are launched. All payments are processed by a third-party payment processor.

5. AI features — disclaimers

AI features in the Pro plan are powered by Google Gemini models. AI-generated content is for informational and assistive purposes only.

The administrator does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of AI-generated content. Users rely on AI suggestions at their own risk.

To provide AI features, selected user data (e.g., habit names, task descriptions) may be sent to the external AI service provider (Google). More information is available in our Privacy Policy.

6. Liability

The service is provided “as is.” The administrator makes reasonable efforts to ensure continuous operation but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

The administrator is not liable for damages arising from the use or inability to use the service, including data loss.

Users agree to use the service in compliance with applicable law and these terms.

7. Termination and account deletion

You may delete your account at any time, resulting in permanent deletion of all your data from the service.

The administrator reserves the right to suspend or delete a user account in case of terms violation, after prior notification via email.

8. Changes to terms

The administrator reserves the right to modify these terms. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days in advance.

Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by Polish law. Any disputes arising from the use of the service will be resolved by the court having jurisdiction over the administrator's place of business.
